Ученый 21 века

In the 1940s and ’50s IBM had boosted the development of computer science as a discipline by donating computers to universities and then helping them create curricula for teaching students how to use the machines. This gave birth to computer science. Today, IBM is again looking to work with universities to develop what it calls "t-shaped" people who have deep knowledge in one or two areas of study, and some level of expertise and communications skills in related areas. A scientist's profile in the 21st Century needs to be both broad and deep to address the greatest challenges we space today from improving the energy grid to providing drinkable water to the world's growing population.
